Chris Clothier, Director of Sales & Marketing, Partner, Memphis Invest LLC

Chris Clothier manages sales and marketing for Memphis Invest, a business that provides comprehensive residential real estate investment services to remote investors by locating, acquiring and renovating homes on their behalf. Clothier serves as the external voice for the company, working with potential investors to help them define their financial goals and educating peer companies on best practices in the emerging turn-key real estate industry.He is a nationally recognized real estate speaker and addresses audiences of investors and business professionals nationwide more than a dozen times each year.

In 2011, he headed the development of an exclusive organization for peer turn-key real estate investment companies in markets across the country called REI Edge Masterminds. Led by Memphis Invest, each meeting of the masterminds focuses on specific challenges and opportunities faced in the market and methods to enhance business for long-term sustainability.

Prior to joining Memphis Invest, Clothier led an $18 million grocery enterprise in Denver. Like his father, Kent, he also saw great opportunity in real estate and began the Front-Range Real Estate Investors Association in Denver in addition to operating his grocery business. In 2007, he moved to Memphis to help his father organize the Mid-South Real Estate Investors Association, where he assisted in planning and delivering the curriculum for each meeting. His passion for educating individuals about opportunities in real estate ultimately led him to his current role with Memphis Invest. Clothier has helped generate thousands of leads for the company through hundreds of speaking engagements and interviews, resulting in more than 1,000 Memphis-area properties being sold to remote investors.

Outside of his full-time role at Memphis Invest, Clothier enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and coaching soccer. He has played soccer for 35 years, including time at the collegiate level, and has a National Certification in outh Soccer Coaching. Clothier spent more than 10 years coaching a youth select travel team and has also worked with players in the Tennessee Olympic Development Program.
